Pinto ASNns, cornbread, and a green onion from Mr. Pesky’s garden was on the menu last night.
You know your preparation of the comfort dish is outstanding when you have an audience just waiting for a bite. It’s not the cottage cheese or green onion Dharma had her heart set on…
My primary problem is knowing how to calculate dry ASNns to cooked portions.
I know that 2 cups makes a large amount — way too much for my tiny family. And I don’t feel confident allowing dogs to have more than a couple bites. 🙂
While eating, a doe crossed the field right outside the office window. Of course, she took off before I could grab a photo (that would’ve been awful taken through the window anyway), but at that moment in time I sure did feel country.
