Last night, I fell into the Brian Laundrie/Gabby Petito rabbit hole. You remember them, right? In 2021, two people went on a van trip and only one returned — Brian in Gabby’s van. The hunt was on first for Gabby (found murdered), and then for Brian (found dead by suicide).
It was crazy how the media — and protestors armed with signs and a megaphone — set up camp in front of the home of Brian Laundrie’s parents demanding answers. It seemed like it went on forever. Law enforcement held multiple press conferences.
What sparked my time travel is obvious.
Thomas Crooks used a gun that belonged to his father in an attempt to kill a former President. Trump was hit in the ear, an event attendee was shot and killed, and two others were wounded, yet no one is camping their place for answers.
We’ve seen a peek of the Dad through a cracked door, but that’s it. The situation is vastly different, but the bottom line is the same, isn’t it? People want to know what they know. There have been no daily press conferences, and no updates from multiple law enforcement agencies.
What’s up with that?
Inquiring minds still want to know…
